Another Cobra Available on the Market

This time, in the UK.

Just ten 'continuations' and totally authentic and perfect reproductions of the definitive iconic 1965 '427 S/C', accurate down to the very last detail - were fully completed by AC Cars Ltd. at the Brooklands Factory in Surrey, England from 1990 to 2003; only 5 now remain in the UK.
This is COB 5002, originally commissioned in 1998 by Lord Taylor, which starred in 'Jeremy Clarkson's Motoring Years' (BBC TV) - the video featuring Clarkson eulogizing and driving this Cobra goes with the car, as does a copy of the programme of the very prestigious 2007 Salon Prive Concours held at the Hurlingham Club, London where this car was an entrant.
It has also been owned by Liam Howlett (The Prodigy).

This Cobra features:
  • Dynoed c. 500 bhp Mathwall 1965 side-oiler engine and top-loader 'Rug' gearbox.
  • Fully trimmed with full all-weather equipment in tailored bags.
  • Eligible for F.I.A. papers, with AC Cars Ltd. 'Certificate of Authenticity'.
  • UK road registered and M.O.T'd as a 1965 'Historic Vehicle' (license fee exempt).
  • Just 2,050 miles from new and in 'Concours' as-new condition throughout.
  • Absolutely awesome performance but completely docile and tractable, even in rush-hour traffic.
  • Same investment potential as the 1965 'original' but around 1/3rd the price!

Also features a chrome roll-cage; quick-lift jacks; 15" Halibrand magnesium wheels with 3-eared knock-off spinners; riveted bonnet scoop; oil-cooler; Cobra 'Le Mans' engine rocker covers; 'Monza' petrol filler; 30+ gallon aluminium petrol tank; wind-wings and perspex sun-visors; driver's race-harness; custom stainless steel exhaust headers and side pipes. Factory build-sheets (see photos).

Seller is asking £275,000
