Cobra 289 Fine Art Print
Printed from an oil painting by Wallace Wyss, the author of SHELBY The Man The Cars The Legend. It depicts a Cobra racer in a works 289 probably at Sebring and we would guess in1964. It is now becoming recognized that the small block Cobras won most of the Cobra victories in the original era, not the big block Cobras which did not enjoy Ford motor Company support. This is the first of a series Wyss calls the "Sienna Tone" pictures because they look like burnt sienna tone photographs. It measures 12" x 18" including borders and is signed by the artist with the words "artist proof" on one side. It is shipped rolled in a tube.
